    Maryland Ss  I do hereby certify to whom it doth concern
that by the last Will & Testament of Anna Maria Chew duly
executed on the twenty Day of February one thousand eight hundred
and six and proved in my office on the eleventh Day of February
one thousand eight hundred and eleven a certain Molatto Boy
named Bennet Born in Queen Anns County aged  fourteen
years four feet six inches & one fourth inch high was man
mitted and set free his freedome to commence on the said eleventh
Day of February one thousand eight hundred and eleven his
person &c identified by the oath of John B Carman

Maryland Ss  I do hereby certify to whom it doth concern that by
the last Will & Testament of Elizabeth Doweres duly executed
on the 19th Day of November 1781 and proved in my office
on the 15th Day of November 1783 a certain negro woman
named Betty Born in Queen Anns County aged about
36 years five feet four inches high was manumitted and
set free her freedome to commence on the 15th Day of
November 1783 her person &c identified by the oath
of Phlemon Murphey
