178 I do therefore hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last Will and Testament of a certain Harriett Bruscup duly executed on the fifth day of June in the year 1835 a certain negro woman named Caroline Cornish five feet three inches high Dark Complexion a scar on her right arm occasioned by a burn and about 25 years of age was left free by the af.d Harriett Bruscup the day of her deceased as well also her af.d Child Christopher being about 2 years old their persons identified by Pere Granger (seal) Given under my hand and the seal of my office this 8.th day of April 1836 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County I hereby certify that a certain Mulatto Man named Heary otherwise Henry five feet 7½ Inches in height now about 40 years of age a scar under the left Ear was set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain Isaac Jump duly executed on the 17.th day of May 1802 and admitted to probat on the 18.th day of June 1802 his person was identified by a certain France McCook Given under my hand and the seal of my [seal] office this 23.d day of May 1836 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen Anns County Maryland Q A County to wit I hereby certify that a certain Negro woman by the name of Ann aged about 50 years five feet one & a half Inches hight and is very black has some small scars on her arms was manumitted & set free by the last Will & Testament of certain Elonor Tilghman duly executed on the 12 January 1821 and admitted to probat in my office on the 20 February 1821 her freedom to commence on 20 February 1829 and her person being identified by the Oath of a certain John H Matthews In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my (seal) name and affixed the seal of my office this 11 day of June 1836 Tho C Earle Reg Wills fo Q Anns County |
