165 State of Maryland Queen Anns County TO wit I do hereby certify that a certain Negro woman named Henny aged about twenty two years dark complexion five feet two & half Inches in height has a large scar about three Inches above her left eye and of a pleasant countenance was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain William Carman duly Executed on the 10th May 1827 and proved in my Office on the 6th October 1827 her freedom to commence on the 10th May 1832 her person having been Identified by the Oath of a certain Mary Hall (Seal) Given under my hand and the seal of my office affixed this 10 Sept.r 1834 Tho C Earle Reg Wills for Queen ANns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit I do hereby certify that a certain Negro woman named Pamelia aged about twenty four years dark complexion five feet two inches high has a large scar at and below her elbow on the left arm occasioned from a scald and of a pleasant countenance was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain Wm Carman duly Executed on the 10 day May 1827 and proved in my office on the 6 October 1827 her freedom to commence on the 10 day of May 1832 her person having been identified by the oath of a certain Jas Merrick Given under my hand & the seal of my (Seal) office this 12 day of Nov.r 1834 Tho C Earle Regr Wills Q A County |
