    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
                I do hereby certify that a certain mulatto
man named Charles now about forty
years of age five feet eight and a half inches
in height has very little hair on the top of his head
and a large scar on the lower part of his forehead
inclining a little towards the right eye was manumitted
and set free by the last will & Testamt
of a certain W.m Bryan duly executed on the 30.th
day of August eighteen hundred and thirty and
proved in my office on the 12.th day of March
eighteen hundred and thirty one.  His freedom
to commence on the first day of January Eighteen
hundred and thirty four.  His person identified
by the Oaths of Wm Bryan and Robert S Bryan
the Executors and devisees of the said William
dec.d      Given under my hand and the seal of my
                         Office this 16.th day of Jany 1834

                                           for Queen Anns County


       State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
             I do certify that a certain negro man named
Jacob Roszil now about thirty four years of age
five feet six inches in height black complexion
has a scar on the third finger of his right hand near
the nail and is rather a likely fellow   Has manumitted
& set free by the last Will & Testament of
Senah Busick late of Queen Anns County dec.d duly
executed on the twenty seventh day of January one
thousand eight hundred & twenty three & proved
