       State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
                      I hereby certify that a certain negro
woman named Jane about forty years of age
dark complexion five feet four & half inches in
height has a scar under the corner of her right eye
and a small scar near the first joint of the little
finger of her left hand was manumitted and set
free by the last will & Testament of a certain Daniel
Weedon duly executed on the 29 day of October and
proved in my office on the 29 day of November in
the year Eighteen ^seventeen^ hundred and ninety seven.  Her
freedom to commence when she shall have attained
to the age of thirty five years.  Her person was identified
by the certificate of a certain Zachariah Duvall
executed in due form and filed among the papers
in my office   Given under my hand and
                      the seal of my office this
    [seal]         29.th day of August 1833
                            Tho C Earle Rr Wills
                                     for Queen Anns County
    The certificate is filed among "Petitions"


       State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
I hereby certify that a certain mulatto woman
named Henrietta now about twenty eight years
of age four feet eleven inches and three quarters
in height has a long scar on her left arm between
the the elbow & wrist joints was manumitted and set
free by the last will and Testamt of a certain James
McWay duly executed on the 19th day of January and
proved in my office on the 13th day of June in the
year Eighteen hundred and four.  Her freedom
to commence at the age of twenty five years
