Shewbrooks who owened her at the time she become
free             Given under my hand and the seal
                               of my office this 28.th day of May
       [Seal]               in the year of our Lord one
                               thousand eight hundred and
                               thirty three
          Tho C Earle Rgr Wills for Queen Anns County


    State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
    I hereby certify that a certain mulatto woman named
Eliza now about twenty eight years of age five feet three inches
high ^has^ a small scar on the right arm just below the elbow
Was manumitted and set free by the last Will and Testament
of a certain George Denny duly executed on the 20.th day of July
1812 and proved in my office on the 1.st day of May 1813
Her freedom to commence on the first day of January 1833
Her person identified by the Oath of a certain Hester Ann
Kirby                     Given under my hand and the seal of
                               my office this 12.th day of June 1833
