157 State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro woman named Sall now about thirty one years of age five feet five & a quarter inches in height has a scar on the thumb of the right hand said to have been occasioned by a fellow also a scar on her right ear & very dark complexion was manumitted and set free by the last Will & Testament of a certain William B Hackett duly executed on the 13.th day of November 1807 and proved in my office on the 4.th day of April in the year 1808 Her freedom to commence when she shall have attained the age of thirty one years. Her person identified by the Oath of a certain Wm Hackett of W.m Given under my hand and the seal of my office this 14.th day of May Eighteen [Seal] hundred & thirty three Tho C Earle Rgr Wills for Queen Anns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit I hereby certify that a certain negro woman named ^Poll or^ Mary now about thirty years of age four feet ten & three fourth inches in height yellowish complexion has a small speck on the white of her right eye & a very small scar on the forefinger of her left hand. Was manumitted and set free by the last Will and Testament of a certain John Radmore duly executed on ^the^ 9th day of October 1812 and proved in my office on the 14.th day of November 1812 Her freedom to commence when she shall have attained the age of thirty years |
