    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit  I hereby
    certify that a certain negro man named Bill now about thirty
nine years of age five feet six inches in heigth dark complexion
a large scar on the left leg just above the knee joint a scar
on the right thigh about an inch long and a scar on his
forehead above the right eye  Was manumitted and set free by the
last Will and Testament of a certain Benjamin Roe duly
executed on the twenty sixth day of March Eighteen hundred
and twenty nine and proved in my office on the twenty
third day of May Eighteen hundred and twenty nine
    His freedom to commence when he shall have attained the
age of thirty years  His person Identified by a certain
Thomas Wright 3d      Given under my hand and
the seal of my office this 1.st day of April Eighteen
hundred and thirty three

       [seal]                         for Queen Anns County


    State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
             I hereby certify that a certain negro man named
George now about twenty seven years of age five feet three
inches & one half inch in height dark complexion a scar
on his left leg just below the knee & good countenance  was manumitted
and set free by the last will and Testament of
a certain Joseph Earickson duly executed on the 8th day
of April and proved on the 19th day of December 1807
    His freedom to commence when he shall have attained
to the age of twenty six years   His person identified
by the Oath of a certain Benj.a W Earickson   Given
under my hand and the seal of my office this 7.th
day of May 1833
