149 the seal of my Office this 15th day of May Anno Domini 1832 Tho C Earle Rr Wills [seal] for Queen Anns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit I hereby certify that a certain negro woman named Ibby now about 35 years of age five feet three inches in heigth her complexion black the nail of the fore finger of her right hand injured a very small scar on the thick part of the thumb of her left hand near the joint was manumitted and set free by the last will & Testament of a certain Wm B Hackett duly executed on the 13.th day of November 1807 and proved in my office on the 4.th day of April 1808. Her freedom to commence on the 31.st day of Dec 1825 Her person identified by the Oath of a certain Wm Hackett of John Given under my hand and the seal of my office this 16th day of May Anno Domini 1832 [seal] Tho C Earle Rr Wills for Queen Anns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit Whereas application has been made to me by a certain negro man named Dany who calls himself davy wally for a certificate of freedom under an act of the general Assembly of Maryland passed at November Session 1805 I do therefore certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that a certain negro man named dany |
