on the 14th day of August Eighteen hundred & five   Her freedom
to commence on the 1st day of January Eighteen hundred
& twenty five   Her person identified by the Oath of a certain
John L Blake the elder   Given under my hand & the seal of
                                  my office this 16th day of April Anno
       [Seal]                  Domini Eighteen hundred & thirty two
                                        Tho C Earle Rgr Wills
                                                       for Queen Anns County


    State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
          I do hereby certify that a certain negro man named Robert
now about thirty four years of age five feet five & three quarter
inches in height dark complexion a scar on the thumb of
his right hand near the upper joint and a scar on the joint
of his left knee was manumitted & set free by the last
will & testament of a certain Margaret Cain duly executed
on the 10th day of september 1819 & proved in my office on the 1st
day of November 1823  His freedom to commence when he shall
attain the age of twenty four years  His person was identified
by the Oath of a certain Jeremiah Rhodes  Given under my
                               hand & the seal of my office this 2d

                                                       for Queen Anns County


    State of Maryland Queen Anns County to wit
    I do hereby certify that a certain negro man named John
now about twenty five years of age dark complexion five
feet seven inches & a quarter in height a scar directly on the
