State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit
                I hereby certify that a certain negro
woman named Henrietta who calls herself Henny
Miller now about thirty years of age light complexion
a slight scar on the inside of her right arm pleasant
countenance and five feet three inches and a half
in heigth her for teeth uneven one of which laps
^a little^ was manumitted and set free by the last will and
Testament of a certain John Brown of Nathan duly
executed on the 12.th day of December and proved in
my office on the 23d day of December 1815   Her freedom
to commence on the 1.st day of Jany next after the decea
in twelve years from the 1.st day of January 1816   Her
person identified by the Oath of a certain Tho C Browne
one of the Heirs of the said John Brown decd   Given
                                     under my hand and the seal
                                     of my Office this 3d day of
       [seal]                     August Anno Domini 1830
                                           Tho C Earle Rr Wills
                                                 for Queen Anns County

woman named Lucy who calls herself Lucy Walton
now about thirty years of age light complexion a scar
on her right cheek bone about an inch from the corner of
her right eye also a scar on the upper part and right
side of her breast bone good countenance five feet
two & three quarter inches in heigth was manumitted
and set free by the last will and Testament of a certain
John Browne of Nathan duly executed on the 12th and proved
in my office on the 23d day of December 1815   Her
freedom to commence in twelve years from the first day
of January 1816   Her person identified by the Oath of a certain
Thomas C Browne one of the heir of the said John Brown decd
Given under my hand and the seal of my office this 16 day of
November Anno Domini 1830   Tho C Earle Rr Wills
                                                                for Queen Anns County
