134 No 2a State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit I hereby certify that a certain negro woman named Juliana aged about thirty years black complexion five feet five Inches in heigth a scar on the under part of his right arm near the sholder joint good countenance large mouth & good teeth was manumitted and set free by the last will & Testamt of Susan Biscoe duly executed on the 27th day of January and proved in my Office on the 3d day of October 1820 Her freedom to commence after the 1.st day of January after the Testatrix's decease Her person Identified by the Oath of a certain Mary Biscoe Given under my hand and the seal of my Office this 13.th day of April Anno Domini 1829 Tho C Earle Rr Wills for Queen Anns County No 24 State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit I hereby certify that a certain negro man named Sam who calls himselfe Sam Wilson about 30 years of age very dark complexion five feet five & a fourth inches in heigth a dark spot on the upper part of his left wrist on or near the joint a large scar on his right leg good countenance & pretty good teeth and manumitted and set free by the last will & Testamt of Nathan Baynard duly executed on the 18.th day of August 1828 and proved in my Office on the 10.th day of April 1829 His freedom to commence at the decease of the Testator His person identified by the Oath of a certain James Roe Given under my hand & the seal of my Office this 13.th day of April (seal) 1829 Tho C Earle Rr Wills for Queen Anns County |
