complexion five feet nine Inches high about twenty
nine years of age has a scar on his right legg about
the place his garter lies on both sides of said Legg was
manumitted and set free his freedom to commence on his
arriving at the age of twenty eight years and proved by
the oath of a certain John W Emory to be the Identical
person as mentioned in said will

Maryland ss  I do hereby certify all persons of whom it doth
or may concern that by the last will and Testament of a
certain John L Wilmer late of Queen Anns county deceased
duly Executed on the eighth day of September in the year of
our Lord seventeen hundred and ninety four and proved in
my office on the 28.th day of October 1795 A certain negro
man named Phaeton of a dark complexion six feet two &
one fourth Inches high about thirty five years of age has a
scar on the right rist occasioned by the Bight of a dog one
on the thumb & one on the Legg occasioned by a Burn was
manumitted and set free his freedom to commence on his
arriving at the age of thirty four years and proved by the
oath of a certain Joseph Latimore to be the Identical person
as mentioned in said will
