106 certain Roderick Earickson Given under my hand and the seal of my Office [Seal] this 8.th day of May Anno Domini 1826 Tho C Earle Rr Wills Queen Anns State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit whereas a certain negro man named London has mad application to me for a certificate of freedom under an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland passed at November Session 1805 I do therefore certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last will & Testament of a certain Susan Sudler duly executed on the 17.th day of October 1807 and proved in my Office on the 19 day of December in the same year a certain negro man named London 5 feet 8 Inches in heigth complexion black his right ancle much larger than the left said to have been Occasioned by a sprain was manumitted and set free his freedom to commence when he shall have arrived at the age of twenty six years His person identified by the Oath of a certain Benj.a W Earickson who also stated that the said negro man London had attained the age of twenty six years the time ^period^ limited for his time of service Given under my hand and the Seal of my [Seal] Office this 9.th day of May Anno Domini 1826 Tho C Earle Rr Wills Queen Anns County Note The description of the above negro London was taken by T C Earle Rr |
