104 and Saul Betty and Nancy Cain & Hetty McDaniel and all my other negroes not herein before bequeathed in my possession or in the possession of my said son in law over the age of 28 years but under the age of 45 years at my death it is my desire shall be free on the 1.st day of Jany next following my decease " Her person identified by the Oath of a certain Wm Price Given under my hand and the seal [Seal] of my Office this 4 day of April Anno Domini 1826 Tho C Earle Rr Wills Queen Anns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County To Wit Whereas a certain negro woman named Harriet has made application to me for a certificate of freedom under an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland passed at Nov Session 1805 I do therefore certify to all persons whom it doth or may concern that by the last will & Testamt of a certain Philip Feddeman duly executed on the 18 day of July 1821 and proved in my Office on the 22d Jany 1822 a certain negro woman named Harriet of a dark complexion 5 feet 2½ Inches in heigth a scar near the first joint of the fore finger of her left hand also a scar nearby on the left thumb and near the wrist joint a scar on the inside of her left thumb on the thick or fleshy part a small mole on the left side of her nose has lost several teeth was manumitted and set free by the following clause in the said last will & Testamt of the said Philip Feddeman " All my other negroes not herein before bequeathed under the age of 28 years at the time of my death including the negroes my son in law Mr Robt Wright has had the use and possession of my will is shall |
