100 knee was manumitted and set free by the last will His freedom to commence on the 1.st day of January 1826 His person was identified by the Oath of a certain Eliza Biscoe who at the same time Given under my hand and the seal of my Office this 6.th day of Jany 1826 Tho C Earle Rr Wills Queen Anns County State of Maryland Queen Anns County To wit Whereas a certain negro man named Henry has made application to me for a certificate of freedom under an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland passed at November Session 1805 I do therefore Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that by the last will and Testamt of of a certain Priscilla Wilmer duly executed on the 23.d day of March in the year 1813 and proved in my Office on the 28.th day of May in the year 1814 a certain negro Boy named Henry five feet five Inches and three quarters of an inch in heigth of a dark complexion a scar near the upper joint of the fore finger of his left hand said to have been occasioned by a cut a very slight scar between the upper and middle joint of the same finger also several considerable scars on his right leg said to have been produced from ulcers has lost one of his fore teeth and his teeth generally in a very decayed State was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of the said Priscilla Wilmer His person freedom to commence on the 1.st day of Jany 1822 His person was identified by the Oath of a certain Peregrine Wilmer who was the Executor of the last will & Testamt of the said Priscilla Wilmer Given under my hand & the Seal of my Office this 10 day of Jany Anno Domini 1826 (Seal) Tho C Earle Rr Wills Queen Anns County |
