    Edwin is five feet five inches high of a light complexion
with an injury on the middle fingers of the left hand

To the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County Md
          This is to certify that a negro woman named Annie
Johnson now present & applying for a certificate of
freedom was born of a freed woman and raised in
Kent County and is now about thirty six years of age

    J N Gordon jr                              May 23d 1856
Annie is five feet two and one half inches high of
a rather dark complexion

now present and applying for a certificate of freedom
was born of a free woman and raised in Kent County

George is five feet & ten inches high of a rather dark
complexion
