    light complexion now present the bearer hereof
called and know by the name of Rebecca Wright
about forty three years of age five feet high has
proved by testimony which is satisfactory to me
that she is the identical person mentioned and
described by the name of Rebecca Wright in the
deed of Manumission above referred to and
that she was raised in Kent County
    (Seal of                       In testimony whereof I hereto
    (Kent County              subscribe my name and affix
    (Court Maryland)        the seal of Kent County Court
                                       this third day of September in the
                                       year Eighteen hundred and
                                       forty nine     Joseph Redue Clerk
                                                          of Kent County Court
                                                                   Maryland

Issued and recorded on the 3rd of September 1849

    To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                                        I hereby certify that the bearer
hereof Mary Ann Elbert the daughter of Isaac Elbert
free man of color was free born is now about
twenty years of age and was raised in this
County                                   D. Turner
                                              5th Sept 1849

Filed and recorded September 5th 1849 and
certificate of freedom issued as follows
State of Maryland Kent County to wit
                         I hereby certify that it hath been
proved by the testimony of Mrs Deborah Turner
which is satisfactory to me that the bearer
hereof a negro woman named Mary Ann Elbert
aged about twenty years five feet 2¼ inches high
of a light Complexion was born free and
raised in Kent County aforesaid
