To the clerk of the Circuit Court    I hereby certify that
John Munson who is now present and applying for a
certificate of freedom was free born and now about
thirty two years old and was raised in Kent County
May 26 1855                              J W Hollyday
    John is five feet six and one half inches high Black
complexion a scar on the left hand near the wrist
    Filed and recorded on the 26 day of May 1855 and

To the clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County May
29 1855         I hereby certify that James Jones now
present & applying for a certificate of freedom is the
identical person mentioned in a deed of manumission
executed by Saml Clark on the 30 Dec 1854 to be free
from & after Jany 1s 1855
                                              Samuel Tomlinson
five feet nine inches high dark complexion thirty
seven years old scar on the back of the left hand near
the wrist
    Filed and recorded on the 29 day of May 1855 and

& applying for a certificate of freedom was free born
and raised in Kent County and is now about twenty
