To the clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County   This is
to certify that a negro woman called Margaret Ann Gale
now present & applying for a certificate of freedom was
born of a free woman and raised in Kent County & about 18 years old
Witness   M Gordon Jr                        Edward Comeygys
Margaret is five feet two inches high rather a dark complexion
Filed and recorded on the 7 day of August 1854 and certificate

To the clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County
I hereby certify that a negro woman named Adeline
Palmer now present and applying for a certificate of
freedom was born of a free woman and raised in Kent
County and is now about twenty five years of age
Witness Jos N Gordon Jr                     J G Maslin
August 22 1854                 Adeline is five feet six inches
high of a light complexion with a small scar on the left hand
Filed and recorded on the 22nd day of August 1854 & certificate

certify that Ellen Perkins who is now present and
applying for a certificate of freedom was born of a free
woman and raised in Kent County and is now about
