Henry is five feet nine & a half inches high of dark complexion
Filed and recorded on the 13 day of December 1853 and

To the clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County   This is
to certify that Charlotte Mason who is now present & applying
for a certificate of freedom is the identical person
mentioned in a deed of manumission executed by Samuel
Mason on the 13 day of January 1854

Charlotte is five feet one and one half inches high light
complexion is about forty six years of age
    Filed and recorded on the 26 day of January 1854 and

       I hereby certify that Isaac Freeman the bearer hereof was
born of a free negro woman and raised in Kent County
he was was bound as an apprentice to me and is five
feet four and a half inches high twenty one years of age
being of a black complexion         Witness my hand this
13 Feby 1854                                       J S Constable
    Filed and recorded on the 13 day of February 1854 and

    James F Gordon clerk of Kent County Court   The
bearer Bill formerly belonged to Mrs Elizabeth Smith
of this county and was sold by one of Mrs Smiths daughters
about the year 1813 or 14 to Mr Josiah Massey for a term
of years he became free about the year 1835 he is now
about fifty years of age

William Rasin is five feet four and three quarter inches
high black complexion & has a scar on the left hand
and is about fifty years old      see Liber J. W. N.o 2 page 180
for manumission of Mrs Eliz Smith dated 17 sep 1806 to sundry negroes
Filed and recorded on the 18 day of January 1854 & certificate
