that a negro woman Martha and sometimes called Martha Ann now
present and applying for a certificate of freedom is the identical negro
named and mentioned in a deed of manumission executed by Samuel G.
Osborn on the sixth day of October in the year Eighteen hundred and twenty
seven and which was duly recorded in Liber T. W. No 3 pages 729 and 729 one of
the record books of Kent County   In said deed of manumission she is stated
to be then two years old      as informed by Thomas H. Osborn to whom the
said negro was allotted in the distribution of the negroes of late Samuel
G. Osborn                                                   J. B. Ricaud

said negro woman Martha is about twenty five years old is about four
feet ten inches high is of a light complexion and has no particular mark
or scar visible                                                   Jos Redue Clk

Filed and recorded on 1st day of November 1850 and a certificate of
Freedom issued to the said negro woman Martha otherwise called Martha Ann

To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                                     I hereby certify that a negro man named Ezekiel Price
now present and applying for a certificate of Freedom is the identical
negro man who was manumitted and set free by Rebecca Price also a
free negro by a deed of manumission bearing date this 26th day of
December 1850 Filed and recorded in the office of the Clerk of Kent
County      said negro Ezekiel Price is about forty three years old is of
black complexion is about five feet seven and a half inches high has
a mark from a cut on the right side extending downwards and was raised
in Kent County                                          George B. Ford

Filed and recorded on the 26th day of December 1850 and a certificate
of Freedom issued to the said negro man Ezekiel Price

applying for a certificate of freedom was free born and raised in Kent County
& is now about twenty two years of age   witness my hand this 30th Dec 1850
