sent & applying for a certificate of freedom was free born and
was bound to Miss Elizabeth Thomas of this County   The said Stephen
is now about twenty three years of age      Nathan Mansfield

Stephen is of a Black complexion five feet eight inches high and has
a scar over the corner of the left eye               Jos Redue Clk
    Filed and recorded on the 15th day of August 1850 and a certificate
of Freedom issued to the said negro man Stephen Hatcheson

    To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                                        I hereby certify that a negro man named Albert
James Cook who is now present and applying for a certificate of Freedom was
born free and raised in Kent County   said Albert James Cook is now
about twenty one years old about five feet nine and a quarter inches
high of a dark complexion and has a scar on the back of the left
hand caused by a burn a little above where the Thumb and forefinger
joins         Witness my hand this 24th of August 1850
                                                                   William Rolph

Filed and Recorded on the 24th day of August 1850 and a certificate of
freedom issued to the said negro man Albert James Cook

    To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                                     I hereby certify that Ann Wilson a mulatto Girl now present
and applying for a certificate of Freedom was freeborn and raised in Kent
County      said Ann Wilson is of a light complexion is about eighteen years
old & five feet five and an half inches high            Daniel Collins
                                                                            Sept 11th 1850

Filed and recorded on the 11th day of September 1850 and a certificate of
freedom issued to the said Mulatto Girl Ann Wilson

    To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                               This is to Certify that negro Cato Blake who is now present
& applying for a certificate of freedom is the identical person mentioned
in a deed of Manumission executed on the 15th of May 1849 by Sarah
A. Hynson L. L. Hynson Martha H. Griffith & Harriet M. Nichols & Recorded
in Liber J. N. G. No 4 pages 234 & 235 and raised in Kent County
October 4th 1850                                             Ben.t S. Brevitt
