To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                         I hereby certify that a negro Boy named John Dudley
who is now present and applying for a certificate of Freedom
was born free and raised in Kent County said negro is about
twenty years of age of a dark complexion and has no particular
scar or mark upon him he is five feet seven inches high
    Given under my hand this 12th day of March Eighteen hundred
and fifty                                                         Joseph Harris
       Filed and recorded on the 12th day of March 1850 and a
Certificate of Freedom issued to the said Negro Boy John Dudley
                                                    By Jos Redue Clk Kt Co Cot Md


To the Clerk of Kent County Court
                               I hereby certify that a Negro girl named
Lucinda Johnson who is now present applying for a certificate
of freedom was born free and raised in Kent County said
Lucinda is of a light complexion and five feet high
          Given under my hand this 14th day of March 1850
                                                          Benjamin Fiddis
          Said Lucinda has no notable scar

Sabina is 5 feet 2½ inches high Black complexion
W.m is 5 feet 7 inches high Black complexion
