86 she being twelve Years of age Last June the said Ellis Taylor to Serve her said Master the ^full^ term aforesaid during which term the said Ellis Taylor her said Master well and faithfully she shall serve his secretts keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willingly she shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean herselfe towards her said Master and all his during the term aforesaid In consideration of which service the said Esau Boston present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the said Esau Boston during the term afd shall and will ^Endeavour to^ Learn his said Apprentice the trade of a weaver and give her six months Scholling and at the Expiration of her servitude give her a new Suit of Cloaths Either of Stuff or Callico over and above her Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and apparell mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd &a Thereupon the said Esau Boston is ordered to give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd Whereupon the said Esau Boston with William Catlin of Somerset County planter his security both present herein Court i their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said Ellis Taylor in twenty pounds Currant Money of Maryland Each of their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the use of the said Ellis Taylor her her heirs or assignes If it happen that the said Esau Boston do not during the term afd Endeavour to Learn his said Apprentice the trade of a weaver and give her six months schooling and at the Expiration of her Servitude do not give his said apprentice a new Suit of Cloaths Either of Stuff or Callico over and above her Common wearing Cloaths and do not provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing mete for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd &a
Called Limbrick Scituated upon pocomoke river in the County afd and a Certain Abigail Tomlinson hath a tract of Land Lying between the said two tracts of your said petitioners so that your petitioner hath noe way to pass and repass from the One tract to the other but thro' the Land of the said Abigail (tho' your petitioner hath frequent necessity to do the Same) and your petitioner further sheweth that your petitioner some years agoe had a Cart Road laid out thro' the Land of the said Abigail for the use of Your said Petitioner in passing and repassing to her said Lands by order of this Court which road is since Turned very much to the prejudice of your petitioner in so much that it is now almost Impossible |
