Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that of the goods and
Chattells of William Turner late of Somerset County planter Otherwise Called W.m
Turner of Somerset County in his bailywick he Should make as well a Certain debt
of five thousand pounds of tobacco which Edmond Jennings Esqr in his Lordships County Court of Somerset
before the Justices thereof Recovered against him as two hundred and Ninty nine pounds of tobacco
which to the Same Edmond Jennings in the Same Court were adjudged for his damages which he had
by occasion of the detention of that same debt and that he Should have that Same tobacco before the
Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of
August then next to Satisfie the said Edmond of his damages afd whereof he is Convict &a

          Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the ninteenth day of the Same month Anno Dom
One thousand seven hundred & thirty five being the day of the return of the Same Writt came the said
Edmond Jennings by William Beckingham his attorney and the Sheriff of
Somerset County to whom the foregoing writt was directed likewise cometh
and maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words Following Viz.t
By vertue of the within writt I have made and levied of the goods and Chattells
of the within named William Turner to y.e Value of one thousand four hundred
and fifty pounds of tobacco according to the appraisement thereof made
and returned hereunto annex'd                     p Joseph McClester Sher
Acc.t of Goods and Chattles appraised p we the Subscribers this 18.th Aug.t 1735
of Wm Turners for the use of Edmond Jennings Esq.r                to Viz.t
John Dennis         for Edmond Jennings Esq.r   Adam Spence for the defend.t
Tho.s Milbourn                                               Mathew Rayn   W.m Turner

You John Fortune and Francis Allen & John Allen do Confess
Judgment to Robert Hodge for the sum of Five pounds Current
money of Maryland and twenty two pounds of tobacco Costs
which sum was recovered by the said Robert Hodge against John
Fortune on the Ninteenth day of August last past in Somersett County
Court the said Five pounds current money of Maryland & twenty two pounds
of tobacco Costs to be levied of your bodies Goods or Chattles lands or tenements
for the use of the said Robert Hodge in Case the said John Fortune shall not
pay and satisfie to the said Robert Hodge the said five pounds current money
of Maryland twenty two pounds of tobacco Costs so as af.d Recovered against
him with [illegible] Aditionall Costs thereon on the tenth day of February next
Taken before us this 26.th day of Sept.r 1735                           Jno Scott
