68 Whereupon the said Robert Geddes with Francis Allen and Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the provinces of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Current money of Maryland of their goods and Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said Robert Geddes do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of Fifty Shillings Current money of Maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment as af.d &.a Likewise the said Robert Geddes with Francis Allen and Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court as af.d acknowledged themselves Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary as af.d in the sum of Forty pounds Current Money of Maryland of their goods & Chattells lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said Robert Geddes do not keep good rules and orders and do not suffer Idle loose or disorderly persons to tipple game or Committ other disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time he shall keep the same Contrary to ^the^ true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province of Mary Entituled an act for the Regulating of Ordinarys &a the Justices of Somerset County Court did assess the Rates ^& prices^ of Liquors and Other accomodations as Followeth viz.t
