(67) Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their goods and Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and levied to the sue of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said John Dennis Junr do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of Fifty shillings Curr.t money of Maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment as af.d &a Likewise the said John Dennis Jun.r with James Martin and David Willson of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court as af.d acknowledged themselves Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary as af.d in the sum of Forty pounds Current money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said John Dennis Jnr do not keep good rules and orders and do not Suffer Idle loose or disorderly persons to tipple game or Committ other disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a
good Security according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a Whereupon the said Mr Cammy Porter with Francis Porter and John White pocomoke of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland in the Sum of five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said Cummy do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of fifty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland for ever year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment as af.d &.a Likewise the said Mr Cimmy Porter with Francis Porter and John White pocomoke of Somerset County Gent his securitys all present herein Court as af.d acknowledged themselves Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary as af.d in the sum of Forty pounds Current money of Maryland of their goods and Chattles lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that the said M.r Cummy Porter do not keep good rules and orders and do not suffer Idle loose or disorderly persons to tipple game or Committ other disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a
