his heirs and Successors  If it happen that the said John Wildman do (and shall) not pay
unto his said Lordship the sum of Fifty Shillings Current money of Maryland for every
year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment ^as afd^ &a

Likewise the said John Wildman with James Rownd and Edward Rownd of Somerset
County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court as af.d acknowledged themselves
Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietary as af.d in the sum of Forty pounds Current
money of maryland of their goods and Chattles lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally
to be made and levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors   If it happen
that the said John Wildman do not keep good rules and orders and do not Suffer Idle
loose per disorderly persons to tipple game or Committ other disorders or Irregularities in
his ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time he shall keep the same Contrary
to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a

to keep ordinary
Abraham Cordery of Somerset County Gent came hereinto Court in his
proper person and prays that he may have the liberty to keep ordinary
or a house of Entertainment at his house at Wickacomoco in Somerset County
for the ease and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellors and strangers as to them respectively
shall seem meet which is by the Court here granted him he giving good Security according to
act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a                              Whereupon the
said Abraham Cordery with George Tull and Benjamin Venables of Somerset County
Gent his Securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland
in the sum of five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells
Lands and tenements Joyntly & Severally to be made and Levied to the use of his said
Lordship his heirs and Successors      If it happen that the said Abraham Cordery do (and
shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of fifty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland
for every year he shall keep such Ordinary or house of Entertainment as af.d &.a
