    for the Ease and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and Strangers as to them
    respectively shall seem meet which is by the Court here granted him he giving good
    Security According to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a

                   Whereupon the said Thomas Walker with Capell King and Joseph Wailes of Somerset
County Gent his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in the Sum of five
pounds Curr.t mony ^of Maryland^ of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to
be made and Levied to the Use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it Happen that
the said Thomas Walker do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the Sum of fifty Shillings
Curr.t money ^of Maryland^ for ever Year he Shall keep ^such^ ordinary or an house of Entertainment as afd &a

                   Likewise the said Thomas Walker with Capell King and Joseph Wailes of Somerset
County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court as afd acknowledged themselves Indebted unto
his Lordship the Lord proprietary as afd in the Sum of Forty pounds Curr.t money of maryland
of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied
to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors   If it happen that the said Thomas
Walker do not keep good rules and orders and ^do^ such to suffer Idle Loose or disorderly
persons to tipple game or Committ ^other^ any disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house
of Entertainment during the time that he shall keep the Same Contrary to the true Intent & meaning
of the act of assembly in Such Case made & provided &a

Henry Jerman of Somerset County Gentleman came hereinto
Court in his proper person and prays that he may have the liberty to
keep ordinary or a house of Entertainment at his house at Snowhill
in Somerset County for the ease and Conveniency of the Inhabitants
travellors and strangers as to them respectively shall seem meet which
is by the Court here granted him he giving good Security according to act of assembly
in such Case made and provided &.a                  Whereupon the said Henry Jarman
with James Martin and Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all
present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his
Lordship the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Curr.t
money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally
to be made and Levied to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen ^that^
the said Henry Jarmin do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of fifty
Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house
