of the action afd by which the Same Ralph remaineth against the Same John thereof undefended  Wherefore the
aforesaid Ralph Corbin his damages by occasion of the non performance of the promise and assumption
aforesaid against the aforesaid John Britt ought to recover but because it is not known to the Court here what
damages the aforesaid Ralph hath Sustained in that part by Occasion of the premisses   therefore it is Commanded
the sheriff of Somerset County that by the Oath of honest and Lawfull men of his bailywick or County he
diligently Inquire what damages the afd Ralph hath Sustained as well by Occasion of the Nonperformance
of the promise and assumption afd as for his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that
part apposed and that Inquisition which thereupon he should take to the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the Same county the third tuesday of June next from under his Seal
and the Seals &.c he said together with the writt thereof to him directed &.a and the Same day is given to the afd Ralph here also

Att which said third tuesday of June to witt the Seventeenth day of the Same month ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred
and thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in the Same
County Came the Said Ralph Corbin by his attorney afd and the Sheriff returned Returned a Certain Inquisition before him
taken at dividing Creek in the County afd on the thirteenth day of May one thousand Seven hundred & thirty five
by which it appears that the afd Ralph Corbin hath Sustained damages by occasion of the Non performance of
the promise and assumption aforesaid further than his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed
to Six pounds Currant money of Maryland and for those Costs and Charges to one pound of tobacco

          Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Ralph Corbin recover against the afd John Britt
his damages aforesaid by the Inquisition aforesaid appears as also one thousand and Eight
1008                                    pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the afd Ralph by the Court
here of his assent of Increas adjudged which Certain damages in the whole do amount to Six pounds Currant
money of maryland and one thousand and Nine                                                   pounds of tobo and the afd

Maryland planter Otherwise Called Michael Morriss of Somerset County in the province
of Maryland was summoned to answer unto Joseph Ennalls of the same province
and of Dorchester County of a plea that he render unto him the sum of Eighteen
 pounds four shillings Current money which to him he oweth and Unjusly
detaineth &.cra

       And Whereupon the same Joseph by William Goldsborough his attorney
saith that whereas the af.d Michael the third day of Aprill which was in the
year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and thirty five at Somerset County
af.d by his certain writing Obligatory had granted himself to be bound unto
