307 Ordered by the Court that John Handy Isaac Handy and Mitchell Dashiell of Somerset County Gentlemen agree with some person or persons to build Erect and finish a good and substancial bridge over or a Cross a Creek in Nanticoke marsh that Cropes the road to Vianna Ferry the said Bridge to be made wide good and Substantiall for horse and foot man to pass and repass about their Occasions and the Same Builder or Builders to be allowed for the same according to Contract and they the said John Handy Isaac Handy and Mitchell Dashiell to make their report thereof to the County Court of Somerset with all Convenient Speed &c Ordered that there be Left Out of the Overseer of Manocan hundred warrent the road from Geo: Horners Lane to the North side of John Shores plantation &c And that there be Left out of the Overseer of Many hundreds warrent from the End of Mr Stoughtons Causway to the South End of John Shores' plantation &c Ordered that Stanton Atkins be Overseer and Clear a road from James Trewitts bridge or Coongoe branch and from the said Branch to the great Bridge over the head of Pocomoke river and that James Martin and Edward Rownd of Somerset County Gent Lay out and Order the way that the same Roads are to be Cleared &c And all the Other County roads and Overseers belonging to them stand as before they were Limmited and directed untill further orders &c
only become useless but a very great burthen to your petitioner wherefore your petitioner humbly prays the said negro Hannah may for the future be set tax free and your petitioner thereby eased of that Charge and she as in duty bound shall pray &c The petition afd being read and heard and fully understood Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Sarah Elzey be discharged for the future from paying of Levys for the afd Negro Hannah as by the petition afd is praid &.c
