Honourable the Lord proprietary of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds sterling each to be levied of their Goods and Chattells Lands or tennements in Case failure be made of the under written Condition The Condition of this Recognizance is such that if the above bound John Nock shall make his personal appearance before his Lordships Justices of the peace for the County afd at at a Court to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of August next then and there to answer unto all such matters and things as shall or may be objected against him in his Lordships behalf and that he stand and abide the Judgment of the said Court as also that he do not depart the Court without leave thereof and to be of Good behaviour towards his Lordships and all his good people especially towards his wife Elizabeth Nock who hath required surety of the peace of him that then this Recognizance be void and of no effect or Otherwise to stand and remaine in full force Taken and acknowledged the day and Year ^afd^ before me Jams Martin Att which said third Tuesday of August Anno Dom one thousand Seven Hundred & thirty Six the Recognizance afd and Every thing thereunto relating is respitted by the Court here untill next Court &a Att which said Next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of November anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at Dividing Creek Came the said John Knock in his proper person and prays that his appearance may be recorded to Save himselfe & Securitys from a Certain Recognizance by him and his Securitys before acknowledged &a thereupon the said John Knocks appearance is recorded and he and his securitys discharged &a
security before acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be recorded and he and his Security accordingly discharged Whereupon the Said John Mitchells appearance is Recorded and he and his Security accordingly discharged &a Whereupon the said John Mitchell is ordered to give New Security for his good behaviour and appearance at March Co.t Next to answer on Suspicion of felony &a Whereupon the said John Mitchell with George Goddard his security Late of Somerset County planter both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Propry |
