    The petition afd being read and heard  Wherefore it is Considered by the Justices here that
a Commission Issue to the afd Thomas Shiles as by the petition afd is praid and that Isaac
Handy Mit^c^hel Dashiell Joseph Dashiell and Robert Dashiell and all of Somerset
County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the same Commission according to act of assembly
in such case made and provided &a


Andrew Thompson
     Chose
David Wilson his Guardian
Andrew Thompson an orphan and son of Andrew Thompson Late of Somerset
County dec.d being above the age of Fourteen Years Came into Court in
his proper person and prays that he may be admitted to Chose a Certain David
Wilson of said County Gent as his Guardian which is to him Granted &a  thereupon the said And.w
Thompson the Younger makes Choice of the said David Wilson as his Guardian accordingly   Whereupon
the said David Wilson is ordered by the Court here to take into his Care and Custody all the Estate
of the said Andw Thompson the Younger both reall and personall and Likewise it is further ordered
^that^ the said David Wilson give Security for to Comply with the Guardianship afd &a

          Thereupon the said David Wilson with Samuel Wilson his Security of Somerset County Gent
both present herein Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said
Andrew Thompson the Younger in the full and Just Sum of Two hundred pounds Sterling good
and Lawfull money of England of their goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Severally
to the Use of the said And.w Thompson his heirs and assigns to be made & Levied      If it happen
that the said David Wilson do not Comply with the Law in Relation to such Guardianships
as afd and do not deliver up unto the said Andw Thompson all his Estate both real and Personall
(that he shall take into his hands and possession) peaceably and Quietly when ever the same
shall be Legally required &c

Maryland ss     To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County in Court sitting
The petition of Mary Humphrys most Humbly Sheweth that your petitioner
hath a negro woman Called bess who is very aged and Incapable to Labour
Your petitioner therefore humbly prays that your worships will discharge her from paying
of taxes for the future and your petitioner as in duty bound shall pray Mary Humphrys

            the petition afd being read and heard and fully understood   Wherefore it Considered by
the Justices here that the afd Mary Humphrys be discharged for the future from paying of Levies
for the afd Negro bess as by the petition afd is praid &a

Samuel Gillett Negro Girle Hannah is adjudged by the Court to Ten Years of age this Term &a
