Likewise the said Patrick Ellison with David Wilson his Security afd both present herein Court in their
proper persons as afd acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary
in the sum of forty pounds Currt money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells
Lands and tenements Joyntly and severally to the use of his said Lordship his heirs and successors
to be made and Levied  If it happen that the said Patrick Ellison do not keep
good rules and orders and do suffer Idle loose or disorderly persons to Tipple game or Committ
disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house of entertainment dureing the
time that he shall keep the same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the Act
of assembly in such case made and provided &c


Upon the mocon of Mr William Beckingham one of the attorneys of this Court on behalfe of
of Charles Goldsborough of Dorchester County Gent for to admitt him the said Charles as one of the practicing
attorneys of this Court which is to him Granted he takeing the Severall Oaths to the Government
directed to be taken by act of assembly with the oath of an attorney thereupon the said
Charles Goldsborough present herein Court in his proper person took the Severall Oaths to the Government
directed to be taken by act of assembly with the Oath of an attorney and made and Subscribed
the declaration with the oath of abjuration &c  and thereupon ye said Charles is admitted to his practice
&c

    petn
To the worshipfull the Justices of his Majesties Court of Common pleas for the Coty
of Somerset &c  the petition of John Marideth humbly sheweth that your Petitioner
is a very poor man and almost past that of Labour by reason of age
and other infirmities which has rendered him uncapable of Getting him self a livelihood or
as much as cloaths to defend him from the injury of the weather therefor your Petitioner humbly
prays that he may be free'd from that of paying levies having these severall years past
been burthene'd therewith Contrary to any reasonable expectation of making satisfaction
in a thing of this nature but residing upon your worships more can did Considerations
of the premises and in granting this request your poor petitioner will ever acknowledge
himself as in strict duty and gratitude bound to pray &c

    The petitioner aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation
thereupon had  Wherefor it is Considered in that the afd John Merideth be discharged from
paying of Levies for the future as by the petition afd is praid &c
