we have appointed you or any three or two of you to be our Comissioners to Examine Evidences on behalf
on behalf ^of^ Reverend Alexander Adams of the County afd in relation to the bounds of a tract ^of Land^ Called Horseys
Chance lying on the south side of Wickacomoco Creek  Wee therefore require you or any three or two of you at
some time and place as to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the afd land Called
Horseys Chance (you first having taken your oaths on the holy evangelist of almighty God according to act
of assembly in such case made and provided) and there cause to come before you or any three or two of you
all such Evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you nominated by the said Complainant or deft
if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporall oaths to be by you or any
three or two of you administred on the holy evangelist of almighty God in the presents of the Complainant
or deft if any touching the truth or remembrance of their Knowledge or any thing that may relate to the Cau
cause afd and that reducing the severall depositions into writing you send the same together with this our
comission under your or any three or two of your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset with all
Convenient speed Robt King Gent Chief Justice of our said Court the twenty second day of November
In the twenty first Year of our dominion &c Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty five
on the backside of the foregoing Commission it was Endorsed Juratt Gillis of ^Geo^ Dashiell Juratt Dashiell p
Thomas Gillis            Now hereat to witt the Seventeenth day of August ann Dom one thousand Seven hundred
and thirty Six Came hereinto Court George Dashiell & Thomas Gillis two of the Gent Nominated in the within C above Commission
and made return of the Same to the Court with the following deposition

The deposition of a wittness taken at the land called Horsey chance by vertue of a Commission to us directed
bearing date the 22.d day of Novr 1735 Isued out of somerset County Court we first having Given notis as the law
directs & being qualified for the said wch deposition is as Follows vizt

Edward Sirman of somerset County planter aged sixty seven years or thereabouts being sworn on the holy
evangelist of almighty God saith he was Informed by Elexander Mitchell ^that^ a corner bounder of his Land
called Horseys Chance was a pine standing on the south side of a Creek called Wiccocamoco Creek about
a hundred yeards from the said Creek to the eastward of a little Gulley or Gutter trenching unto the same
Creek and further the same sirman says that he lived on the same land maney years and was well
well aquint with the same Land and that the same tree was called Mitchells corner tree and
further saith not               at which place there is a Ceader post sett up marked with sixteen Notches
standing in richard Mitchells cornfield in the westermost side of the cornfield   Taken this 18th day
of december Ann Dom 1735/before us                                                            Geo: Dashiell

County afd in relation to the bounds of a peice or parcell of Land lying in Synapuckson neck whose
bounders depends on the first bounder of a tract of land Called Genezer &c  Wee therefore require you or
