And the aforesaid Woney Macclemmy in his proper
person Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &a
and saith that he Cannot gainsay the action afd of the afd
Mary nor but that he did assume upon himselfe in manner
and form as the afd Mary above against him hath
Complained and as to the damage of the Same Mary
by her by occasion of the premisses in that part Sustained
the same Woney saith and Confesseth that the afd Mary has Sustained Damages by Occasion of the premisses
further than his Costs and Charges by her about her Suit in that part apposed to four pounds fifteen Shillings
curr.t money of Maryland and not more and because the afd Mary deny's not his but the Same allegation
Confesseth to be true prays Judgment and those damages above Confessed together with his Costs and Charges afd
aforesaid to him to be adjudged &a
                                                                Therefore by Consent of the parties afd it is Considered that the
afd Mary Tate Exrx of the Same Thomas Tate Recover against the afd Woney Macclemmy the sum of four pounds
fifteen Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland her damages afd in form afd Confessed also Two hundred and
221   Twenty One                              pounds of tobacco for her Costs and Charges afd to the same Mary at
her request Costs by the Court here of the assent of the parties afd adjudged and the afd Woney in Mercy &a

   Finch Jones
   Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he Should take
Finch Jones Late of Somerset County Bricklayer otherwise Called Finch Jones if he
shall be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have
his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek
the third tuesday of March ^then^ next to answer unto Whittington King ^Ex.r of the testament & last will of John King^ dec.d of a plea that he render unto him
One thousand and Seventy two pounds of tobacco which from him he unjustly detaineth &a and that
thereof he Should not fail &a        
                                                             Att which said third tuesday of march to witt the sixteenth
day of the Same month anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty four being the day of
the return of the said Writt Came the said Whittington King by Thomas Bluett his attorney and the sher
of Somerset County to witt Joseph Macclester Gent  Likewise Came and returned that by Vertue of the
writt afd to him directed he had taken the body of the afd Finch Jones whose body before his Lordships
Justices at the same day and place in the writt afd Mentioned he had there Ready &a

       Whereupon the said Finch Jones at the prayer of the afd Whittington King is adjudged to give Speciall
