25 Chaille if &a to answer &a and afterwards to witt the Seventeenth day of June anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek In and for the Same County Came the said Moses Chaille in his proper person and had a hearing of the Indictment aforesaid who thereupon submitts with a protestation of his Innocency and will not plead with his Lordship the Lord proprietary and putts himselfe upon the favour of the Court whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered that the aforesaid Moses Chaille pay unto his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by Occasion of the premisses ^afd^ whereof in form aforesaid he is Convict One Shilling Currant money and that the said Moses Chaille be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine aforesaid and that he & his security be discharged from their recognizance before Entered into &a
Year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred thirty and five with force and arms at the Parish af.d in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court one Negroe Boy of the value of Twenty five pounds current money of Maryland of the Goods and Chattles of John Pitts then and ^there^ being found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule and Government and against the form of the act of assembly in Such Case lately made and provided &a Testes John Pitts, Joshua Merril, John Pitts Jun.r, John Gouty On the Backside of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was Indorsed as Followeth True Bill p Joshua Caldwell foreman Thereupon Command is given to the the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he Should take the said Thomas Lambden, Sarah Lambden and John Britt if &a to and life &a and afterwards to witt the Seventeenth day of June anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in and for the Same County Came the Said Thomas Lambden and John Britt in their proper persons and being by the sheriffe Led to the Barr they the said Thomas Lambden Sarah Lambden and John Britt are ordered to give Recognizance with good Securitys for their good behaviour and appearance before his Lordships Justices of assize Nisi prius Oyer and terminer and Goal delivery to be held for |
