24 Felony aforesaid in the Indictment aforesaid Specified in manner and form as by the Indictment aforesaid above above against him supposed &a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Court here that the aforesaid John Shiles be quiet and go thereof without day &a Levin Gale Esq Edward Chambers Esq.r Doctor Stewart promiseth to pay fees &a John Pullett appears according to his recognizance to give Evidence against John Shiles on behalfe of his Lordship and is discharged &a Major Floyd appears according to his recognizance to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against John Shiles and is discharged &a Henry Walter appears according to his recognizance ^to give Evidence^ against John Shiles on behalfe of his Lordship and is discharged &a Charles Dashiell and Richard Hooffing appears according to their Recognizance to give their Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against John Shiles and is discharged &a
force and arms at the Parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court One Woman's Linnen Cap of the Value of five Shillings Current money of Maryland of the goods and Chattles of Thomas Fletcher then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good Rule and Government and against the form of the act of assembly in such Case lately made and provided &.cra Test Sarah Fletcher, Elianer Walker, Sarah Poynter, Sara Glaze, Henry Jarman Patrick Connelly On the backside of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Viz.t a true Bill p Jso Caldwell foreman Afterwards to witt the Seventeenth day of June Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now here held at dividing Creek in ^and for^ y.e same County Came the aforesaid Comfort Mannering in her proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by her and her Security before acknowledged and being by the Sheriffe of the County af.d set to the barr had a hearing of the Indictment af.d who says she is not Guilty thereof and of this she putts he^r^selfe upon the Country And William Goldsborough ^Gent^ his said Lordships attorney and who for (his |
