230 at Snow Hill Town in Somerset County afd for the Ease and Conveniency of the Inhabitants travellers and Strangers as to them respectively shall seem mete which is by the Court here Granted him he giving Security according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a Whereupon the said John Wildman with Edward Rownd and James Rownd of Somerset County Gent his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland in the Sum of five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said John Wildman do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordship the sum of fifty ^shillings^ Curr.t mony of Maryland for every year he shall keep such ordinary or house of Entertainment &a Likewise the same John Wildman with Edward Rownd and James Rownd his securitys as afd all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in the Sum of forty pounds Currant money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied If it happen that the said John Wildman do not keep good rules and orders and do suffer Idle Loose or disorderly persons to tipple game or Committ other disorders or Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment during the time that he shall keep the Same Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the act of assembly in such Case made & provided &c
shall seem mete which is by the Court here Granted him he giving securitys according to act of Assembly in such case made and provided &c Whereupon the said Thomas Walker with Robert Givins and A^a^ron Lyinn of Somerset County Gent his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right honrble the Lord proprietary of the province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Currt money of Maryland of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Joyntly and severally to the use of of his said Lordships his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen that the said Thomas Walker do (and shall) not pay unto his said Lordships the sum of fifty shillings Currt money of Maryland for ever year he shall keep such Ordinary or house of Eentertainment &c (Likewise) |
