Edward Cluffe

          To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County now sitting
The humble Petition of Edward Cluffe of Somerset County Blacksmith
Sheweth that the County Road to Manokin lyeth through your Petitioners
Plantation and he being necessiated to provide him new corn ground for the Support of his Family
has no Ground for the same but where the said Road will go through his corn Field or Otherwise
to his great detriment humbly prays your Worships Order for turning the same and your
Petitioner shall ever pray &c
                                                      The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood
    Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Edward Cluff turn the Road afd as by the petition
    afd ^is praid^ he first making the new road as good and passable as the Old and that the Same New road
    be turned made and Cleared according to the direction of Giddion Tillman and Thomas Hayward and
    they to make their Report to next Court &a


    Isaac Williams Negro boy Called Banger is adjudged by the Court here to be of the age of
    Twelve Years &a

    John Kenney Negro Boy Called Jemmey is adjudged by the Court here to Twelve Years of age


William Brazer
   bound to
James Mumford
  William Brazer son of William Btazer (Late of Somerset County
decd) an orphan is by the Court here of his own Free Consent bound out
an apprentice according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided
    unto a Certain James Mumford untill he arrives at the age of Twenty One Years he being fourteen
    Years of age next Spring the said William Brazer the Younger to Serve his said Master
    the full term afd during which term ye said William Brazer his said Master well and  
    faithfully he shall Serve his secrets Keep his commandments Lawfully and honestly every
    where willingly he shall do and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice shall demean
    himselfe towards his said master and all his during the term afd

        Inconsideration of which service the said James Mumford present herein Court in his
    proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court on manner and form Following
    that is to say that he the said James Mumford during the term afd shall and will Learn
    his said apprentice the trade of a weaver and to read and write and Likewise provide for his
    said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for such an apprentice
    to have and wear during the term afd &.a      Thereupon the said James Mumford is ordered to
    give security for to Comply with the Covenants afd   Whereupon the said James Mumford with
