        June Court                    1736                    215

    Nicholas Buckley of Somerset County came hereinto Court in his proper person according to a Certain Writt of attachment
against him Issued for not appearing at march Court Last he being Legally Somoned thereto for not burning of tobacco according
to act of assembly in such Case made and provided and for as much as the said Nicholas Buckley had nothing to object
that was Meteriall but was willing to pay his fine for the Same  Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the sd
Nicholas Buckley pay unto his Lordship the Lord Propry for his fine afd forty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland
thereupon the said Nicholas Buckley is Committed into the Custody of the sher of Somerset County untill the fine afd is
paid and the Severall Officers Fees due by Occasion of the premisses afd  Whereupon the said Sheriff to witt Joseph McClester
Gent by Christopher Piper his deputy present here in Court took Charge of the said Nicholas Buckly accordingly

             John Martin of Somerset County Came hereinto Court according to a Certain Writt of attachmt against him
Issued for his not appearing at march Court Last he being Legally Somoned thereto for not burning of tobacco according
to Law and for as much as the said John Martin had nothing to object that was Meteriall wherefore he had not
burnt the tobacco afd  Wherefore the said John Martin is fined by the Court here forty Shillings Curr.t money of
Maryland for and by Occasion of the premisses afd &a

    Thomas Shiles of Somerset County planter Came here into Court in his proper person according to a Certain Writt
of attachment against him Issued for not appearing at March Court Last he being Legally Sumoned thereto for not
burning of tobacco according to Law and for as much as the said Thomas Shiles had nothing to Object that was
Meteriall wherefore he had not burnt the tobacco but was willing to pay his fine for the fact afd  Therefore it is
Considered by the Court here that the said Thomas Shiles pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine afd
by Occasion of the premisses afd three pounds Curr.t money of Maryland & that he be taken &a

Henry Brownbill of Somerset County planter Came hereinto Court in his proper person according to a Certain Writt of
Attachment against him Issued for his not appearing at March Court Last he being Legally Sumoned thereto for not burning
of tobacco according to Law and for as much as the said Henry Brownbill had nothing to object that was Meteriall
wherefore he had not burnt his tobacco according to Law but was willing to pay his fine for the same   Therefore it is
Considered that the afd Henry Brownbill pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for and by occasion
of the premisses afd twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a

Susannah Powell being attached for not appearing at march Court Last she being Legally Sumoned thereto for not
burning of tobacco according to Law &.a  Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Susannah Powell pay unto
his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for her fine for and by occasion of the premisses afd twenty Shillings Curr.t money of
Maryland and that she be taken &a

James Murray of Somerset County Came hereinto Court in his proper person according to a Certain Writt of attachment against
him Issued for his not appearing at March Court Last he being Legally Sumoned thereto for not burning of his tobacco according
to Law and for as much as the said James Murray had nothing to Object that was Meteriall wherefore he had not
burnt his tobacco afd but was Willing to pay his fine for the same      Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd
James Murray pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for & by Occasion of the premisses twenty shill.s
Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a
