Honest &.a he make known to the afd William Andrews that he be and appear before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of June next to Shew in form afd if &.a and further &.a and
the Same day is given to the afd Plft here also &a                              Att which said third Tuesday of June to witt the Fifteenth
day of the Same month anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Six being the day of the Return of the Same
writt before the Justices of his Lordships County of Somerset now to be held at dividing Creek afd Came the said Thomas
Lambden by his attorney afd and the afd Sheriff of Somerset County as before Returned that the afd William Andrews
hath nothing in his bailywick when or by which to him he Could make known nor is found in the Same and
the afd William Andrews at the Same day being Solemnly Called Cometh not but makes default
361   Therefore it is Considered that the afd Thomas Lambden adm.r of the afd Theodore Bere have Execution against
the said William Andrews of the damages afd according to the force form and Effect of the Recovery afd &a

Somerset County ss.t  Richard Phillips late of Somerset County planter was attached
to answer unto William Kitchen of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a
And whereupon the said William by Francis Allen his attorney
complains that whereas the said Richard the twenty ninth day of October Anno Dom
seventeen hundred and thirty five at the County of Somerset af.d within the Jur of this Court
was Indebted unto the said William in nine pounds and foure pence currant money of Maryland
and two hundred and eighty six pounds of tobacco for ^so^ much by the said William for him the said
Richard at the special Instance and request of him the said Richard to a certain Thomas Gray
then and there deposited and paid and being so thereof Indebted the said Richard in Consideration
thereof the day and year af.d at the place af.d upon himself did assume and to the said William
then and there did faithfully promisse that he the said Richard the af.d nine pounds and four
pence currant money af.d and the af.d two hundred and eighty six pounds of tobacco to the
said William when he should be afterwards thereunto requested he would well and
faithfully pay and Content  Nevertheless the said Richard his promisse and assumption
af.d in forme af.d made nothing regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending the said
William in that part craftilly and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said nine pounds
and four pence currant money and two hundred and eighty six pounds of tobacco to the said
William altho' the same to do he the said Richard by the said William on the af.d twenty
ninth day of October in the year af.d and often afterwards at the County he was thereunto
requested hath not paid or Contented but the same to him hitherto to pay or Content hath
refused And still doth refuse and deny to the damage of the said William of eighteen
pounds Currant money of Maryland and Five hundred and seventy two pounds of tobacco
And thereupon he bring Suit &c                        Pledges &a    John Doe & R Roe
