192 the same House belonging and appertaining without any lawful Licence or Authority so to do to the evil Example of all others in such case offending and contrary to the act of assembly in such case lately made and provided &a Whereupon the same attorney of the said Lord proprietary for the same Lord proprietary prayeth the Advise of the Court here in the premises and that due process of law in this part against the af.d Richard Gore may be made to answer unto the said Lord proprietary of and upon the premises &c Test Samuel Mayo Wm Bennett Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the said Richard Gore if &.a to answer &.a and afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of June anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty five before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of ^Somerset^ now here held at Dividing Creek in and for the same County Came the said Richard Gore in his proper person and had a hearing of the Information afd and being Instantly demanded how he would acquit himselfe of the premisses afd sath that he Will ^not^ Contend with his said Lordship the Lord propry and submitts with a protestation of his Innocency and puts himselfe upon the favour of the Court Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood It is Considered that the afd Richard Gore pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed for and by occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is Convict five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Richard Gore be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd and to pay the sever officers their Fees due by means of the premisses afd &a thereupon the said sheriff ot witt Joseph MccClester Gent by Francis Porter his deputy present took Charge of the same Richard Gore accordingly &a
Recorded and he and his security accordingly discharged Whereupon a Certain Francis Allen of Somerset County Gent present herein Court in his proper ^person^ prays the Suretyes of the peace against the said Peter Taylor and takes the Oath in Common form &a thereupon the said Peter Taylor is ordered to give New recognizance for his good behaviour and appearance August Court next &a Whereupon the said Peter Taylor with William Turpin sen.r and William McClemmey of Somerset County Gent his securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary in manner and form Following viz.t the said Peter Taylor in Ten pounds sterling and the said William Turpin and William McClemmey in five pounds sterling Each of their goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship the Lord Proprietary his heirs and Successors if It that the said Peter Taylor do not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Dividing Creek |
