 Somerset County ss.t  Be it remembred that William Goldsborough Gent attorney
of the right honourable the Lord Proprietary that now is who for the same Lord Proprietary
in this part prosecuteth doth come hereinto the County Court of the same Lord Propry
held for somerset County afd to witt at dividing Creek in the County afd the sixteenth day of march in the
Year of Our Lord God seventeen hundred thirty and five before John Smith Esq.r and his associates the
said Lord Proprietary his Justices hereto Understand and be Informed that John MccClester
Late of Stepney parish in the County afd Gent the thirtieth day of September in the Year of our
Lord God seventeen hundred and thirty  five at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction
of this Court did Committ fornication with a Certain Mary Maguire and of her body then and
had Carnall Knowledge and a bastard Child on the body of her the Same Mary then and there
did begett to the high displeasure of almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in such Case
offending contrary to the peace of the said Lord Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government
and against the form of the act of assembly in such Case Lately made and provided &a  Whereupon
the Same attorney of the Same Lord Propry for the Same Lord Propry prayeth the advice
of the Court here and that due process of Law in this part against the said John may Issue to answer
unto the said Mary Lord proprietary of and upon the premisses &a

                                  Thereupon Command was given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that he should
Take the said John MccClester if &a to answer &a and afterwards to witt the fifteenth day of June anno Dom
One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five Before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
now here held at dividing Creek Came the said John MccClester and says that of the premisses afd above
upon him Imposed he is guilty thereof and is willing to pay his fine for the fact afd &a

Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood  It is Considered
by the Justices here that the afd John McClester pay unto his Lordship the Lord Propry for his fine
by the Court here upon Imposed for and by occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is
Convict thirty Shillings Curr.t money of maryland for the use of the County afd and that the said John
McClester be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd Jos: McClester of Somerset County
Gent undertakes for to pay the Severall Offices Fees due &a
