in danger of being Sufferers therefore it is prayed that your worships would order the afd Estate into your petitioners hands or Cause those persons that are now in possession of the aforesaid Estate to give ^sufficient^ Securitys to keep us your petitioners undamnified as wee your most humble petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray Roha Bowin his Abra R Smith marke The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and Mature deliberation thereupon had and a Certain John Bishop (who had Intermaried with the Widdow of the afd Edward Bowin dec.d) being present herein Court in his proper person &.a Whereupon the said John Bishop is ordered by the Court here to give the said Rhoday Bowin and Abraham Smith Sufficient Counter Security to save and keep them Endempnified on account of the administration afd or deliver up unto them all the Estate of the said Edw.d Bowin dec.d that he hath in his hands and possession the said John Bishop present herein Court freely acknowledgeth that he is willing & ^ready^ to deliver up unto the said Rhodah Bowin and Abraham Smith all the Estate that he hath in his hands that doth of and right belong to Edward Bowen dec.d &a
the third Tuesday of March ^then^ next to answer unto William Beckingham and Elizabeth his wife Executrix of the testament and Last Will of Michael Piper late of the City of Annapolis dec.d of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a and that thereof he Should not fail &.a and the said William Beckingham and Eliz.a his wife by George Douglas their attorney Complain against the said Thomas Cromwell in the plea afd as Followeth viz.t Somerset County ss Thomas Cromwell Late of Somerset County Schoolmaster was attached to answer unto Will.m Beckingham and Elizabeth his wife Executrix of the testament and Last Will of Michael Piper late of the City of Annapolis dec.d of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a And whereupon the same William and Elizabeth by George Douglas their attorney Complain that Whereas the Same Thomas on the first day of October in the Year of Our Lord seventeen hundred and Twenty five at Somerset County was Indebted unto the afd Michael in his Life time in the sum of three pounds Sixteen shillings Currt money being for a saddle by the afd Thomas of the afd Michael ^there^ before that time bought had and received and so thereof being Indebted the same Thomas in Consideration thereof afterwards to witt the same |
