167 Bowman Townsend of Somerset County planter being Somoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a And for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Bowman Townsend hath not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Bowman Townsend pay unto his Lordship the Lord prory for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd to twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a David Peterkin of Somerset County planter being Somoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &a And for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the said David Peterkin hath not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said David Peterkin pay unto his Lordship the Lord Propry for his fine for and by occasion of the premisses afd twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that she he be taken &a For as much as a Certain George Paul had not burn so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn but being willing to pay his fine for and by occasion of the premisses aforesaid &.a Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said George Paul pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for and by occasion of the premisses afd Twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a For as much as a Certain John Barkley ^Junr^ had not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was obliged to burn but is willing to pay his fine for the Same &.a Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd John Barkley Junr pay unto his Lordship the Lord propry for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd Twenty Shillings Curr.t money of maryland and that he be taken &a For as much as a Certain Robert Macalpin had not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn but is willing to pay his fine for the Same &a Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Robert Macalpin pay unto his Lordship the Lord prory for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a For as much as a Certain William Whaley Jun.r had not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn but is willing to pay his fine for the Same &.a Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd William Whaley pay unto his Lordship the Lord Propry for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd Twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that he be taken &a Thomas Bolin of Somerset County planter being attached by the Sheriff of Somerset County for not appearing at Last November Court held for Somerset County at dividing Creek he being Legally sumoned thereto Now hereat this day to witt the Sixteenth day of March anno Dom 1735 Came the said Thomas Bolin in his proper person and being by the Sheriff set to the Barr but had nothing to Object that was Materiall wherefore he had not burnt his tobacco according to law but ^is^ willing to pay his fine for the fact afd Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Thos Bolin pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for and by occasion of the premisses afd Forty Shillings Currt money of Maryland and that he be taken &a |
