167 Abraham Ingram of Somerset County being Somoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a and for asmuch as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Abraham Ingram had not burnt much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Abraham Ingram pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary For his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses afd four pounds Curr.t money of Maryland &a Richard Green of Somerset County being Somoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly and such Case made and provided &a and for asmuch as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Abra Richard Green had not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the Said Richard Green pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for and by Occasion of the premisses aforesaid twenty Shillings Curr.t money &a Finch Jones of Somerset County being Sumoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &a And for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Finch Jones had not burnt so much tobo as by Law he was obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Finch Jones pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for and by Occasion of the premisses afd forty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland Whereupon the said Finch Jones present herein Court in his proper person is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriff of Somerset County thereto remain the said sheriff to witt Joseph MaClester by Joshua Merrill his deputy present took Charge of the said Finch Jones accordingly untill the fine afd and the Severall Officers fees due by means of the premisses afd &a be satisfied Thomas Prittiman of Somerset County being Sumoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &.a and for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Thomas Prittiman had not burnt so much tobacco as by Law he was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered that the afd Thomas Prittiman pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for his fine for and by occasion of the premisses afd twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland &a and that he be taken &a Mary Clark of Somerset County being Sumoned to appear at this Court to answer his not burning of tobacco according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a and for as much as it doth appear to the Court here that the said Mary Clark hath not burnt so much tobacco as by Law she was Obliged to burn Wherefore it is Considered by the Court here that the afd Mary Clark pay unto the His Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary for her fine and by Occasion of the premisses afd Twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that she be taken &a |
