 You Edward pointer Edward Rownd and Henry Tarman do
confess Judgment to John Dennis Ju.r for the sum of five hundred
pounds of Tobacco which sum was recovered by the said John
Dennis against Edward Pointer on the first day of august before the subscriber said five
hundred pounds of Tobacco to be levied of your ^bodys^ Goods or Chattels lands or Tenaments for the use
of the said John Dennis in case the said Edward Pointer shall not pay and satisfie unto the said
John Dennis the said five hundred pounds of Tobacco so as af.d recovered against him with
the additional costs thereon ^on^ the tenth day of Feb.ry next Taken before me this 12 day
of November 1735      To Mr Hayward                                                   James Martin

 Somerset ss.t  Charles absolute Lord and proprietary of the provinces
of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c  To
Mitchell Dashill James Cal^d^well Robert Givan and James Train
all of Somerset County Gen.t Greeting know ye that we have appointed you or any
three or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examine Evidences on behalf of a Certain
John Gillis of the County af.d in relation to the bounds of a tract Land Called Maydens
Lott Containing three hundred acres wee therefore require you or any three or two
of you at some time and place to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient
you meet on the af.d Land Called Maydens Lott (you first having taken your
Oaths on the holy Evangelist of almighty God according to act of assembly in such
case made and provided) and there Cause to come before you or any ^three^ or two of you all such
Evidences as shall be to your or any three or two of you nominated by the said Complainant or
def.t if any ^and^ that you or any three or two of you Examine them upon their Corporall
Oaths to be by you ^or any three or two of you^ administred on the holy Evangelist of almighty God in the presents
of the Complainant or def.t if any touching the truth or Rememberance of their
knowledge or any thing that may relate to the Cause af.d and that reducing the severall
depositions into writing you send the same together with this our Commission under
your or any three or two of your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset
with all Convenient Speed wittness Robert King Gen.t Chief Justice of our said Court
the 27th day of November in the ^21st^ year of our Dom.m &.c Ann Dom 1735

    On the back side of the foregoing Commission it was Endorsed viz.t  Be it Remembered that
    on the 15th Jan 1735/6 Came m.r James Caldwell and M.r Robert Givens before me the
    subscriber and was duely qualified according to act of assembly the day and year above
    before me                                                                                             Mitchell Dashiell

             Likewise to the same Commission were annexed the Following depositions vizt   Whereas
    the Justices of Somerset County Court by a Commission to us the Subscribers directed bearing
