premisses further than his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed to four pounds
four Shillings and tenn pence Curr.t money and not more and because the afd Day denys not this but the
Same allegation Confesseth to be true prays Judgment for those damages above Confessed together
with his Costs and Charges ^afd^ to him to be adjudged &a

          Therefore by Consent of the parties afd it is Considered that the aforesaid Day Scott Recover
against the afd William Wye his damages aforesaid to the afd four pounds four Shillings and ten
pence Curr.t money in form aforesaid Confessed as also Two hundred and Seventy Five
231   pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges afd to the Same Day Scott by the Court here and Consent
of the parties afd adjudged and the afd Defend.t in mercy &a

 Somerset County ss  Robert Geddes Late of Somerset County Inholder was
attached to answer unto George Bounds of a plea of trespass upon the Case &a
And whereupon the said George Bound by Geo: Douglas his
attorny complains that whereas the said Robert on the thirtyeth day of may Anno
Dom Seventeen hundred and thirty five at Somerset County af.d within the Ju.r of
this Court was Indebted to the said George Bounds in the Sum of five pounds ten shillings
Current money of Maryland for a Bay horse by the said George Bounds to the said Robert
at the Especiall request and Instance of the said Robert before that time Shold and
Delivered and the said Robert being so thereof Indebted on Consideration thereof
afterward to witt the day and year af.d at the County af.d upon himselfe did assume &.c
to the said George Bounds then and there faithfully promise that he the said Robert
the said five pounds ten Shillings Currant money of Maryland to the G^e^orge Bounds
when he should be afterwards thereof required to the said G^e^orge Bounds would faithfully
pay and Content Nevertheless the said Robert his promise and assumption af.d
in form af.d made nothing regarding but minding and fraudulently intending the said
G^e^orge Bounds in that part craftily and Subtily to deceive and defraud the said five
pounds ten Shillings to the said G^e^orge Bounds hitherto hath not paid or him for the
same in any Sort contented but the same to him to pay hath altogether refused and
still doth refuse altho' the same to do the said Robert afterwards to wit the day
and year af.d at the County af.d and often since that time by the said G^e^orge Bounds
was required where upon the said George Bounds says he is Dammified Eleven pounds
Current money of Maryland and thereof he brings Suit &.c

    Whereupon Came here into Court the said Robert Geddes in his proper person and thereupon
    the said Robert Geddes at the prayer of the afd George Bounds by his attorney is by the Court here
    adjudged to give Speciall Bail to the action afd      Whereupon Came hereinto Court a Certain
